John and I just spent a fantastic weekend in San Francisco. All I asked for for Christmas were tickets to see Wicked and wouldn't you know... the closest place it was playing was in a familiar city. It was an incredible show and we had such a wonderful time. Highlights of the weekend were eating awesome Japanese food, staying in the beautiful Omni Hotel, visiting with two of my favorite and oldest friends from San Leandro, Ghiradeli Square for the best hot fudge sundae around, the show and dinner with John and Susan, and a catch up with one of my college roommates that I hadn't seen in 12 years! I don't mean to make my kids feel bad, but the other great part was just being with John! Life is a little easier when you aren't worried about three other little people's needs.

Looks like you had fun. Was it freezing? "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."-Mark Twain I remember being there in July and thinking I was freezing in a coat and pants. Came home to 110. At least the sun was shining when you took the picture. :)
Mom and Dad said they loved the show too! (and the company!) Now I want to go see it...
